An Invitation to the Children in Sherman, Families and Guests 

“Annual Community Halloween Bash 2025 –  Safe Trick or Treating”

    When:   Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, 5 PM - 7 PM 

Where: Roadway Looping around The Sherman Playhouse and “Scout House” 

(If inclement weather, event will be cancelled) 

Get a treat at each ‘Trick or Treat” booth in a safe environment while having some fun.   

This is an in-person event. 

Adult/s must accompany child/children. 

Different venues to view and to take photos.  Watch for ghosts and goblins that may appear.   

Nitzu, the 11 foot blow up “fiery” dragon, will be on display flapping his wings to take a picture.  Other inflatables for photos along the route.     

Please bring own bag, or bucket for collection of goodies, or a plastic bag will be provided. 

Wear a costume, but dress for the weather.   

Make sure masks do not impair vision, when walking.  

A flashlight will come in handy. 

Wearing of face covering optional. 

Please, no pets unless a service animal. 

Please observe where to park when entering The Daily Market driveway.  Do not park in front of The Daily Market.  Please park below Mallory Hall.  Additional parking at The Sherman School. 

Hot dogs, chips, drinks, hot drinks, Halloween treats….  FREE of CHARGE!  Self-serve and individually wrapped.   

No Fee, but donations of canned soups, canned fruits/vegetables, black beans, canned tuna, peanut butter, boxed mac and cheese, pasta and pasta sauces, cereal, packaged cookies, paper towels, toilet tissue, travel size tissues will be welcomed to distribute to local food pantries and Sherman Senior Center.  Contributors will receive a small reward.  Drop off table at entrance to Bash. 

Good community service opportunity for youth. 

  

   Town groups, youth organizations, businesses and services, residential communities, and caring     

   Individuals are making this event possible.
