Discover the secret wonders of the first signs of spring on this guided hike. Join Naturalist Lori Lichtenauer at Deer Pond Farm to observe early spring wildflowers, vernal pools, tadpoles and salamanders, early migrating songbirds, and much more. Lori will lead you to one of our forestry management areas, pass a vernal pool or two, and meadows starting to green up. Deciduous trees begin flowering in April, attracting many insects to their blooms. Learn how finding the right flowers can help you find more insects, which may help you find more birds! Approx. 2 - 3 miles.
