Fish and Fishing in Sherman

April 23rd at 7:00 pm

The Northwest CT Land Conservancy, Sherman Historical Society and Sherman Library will be hosting Fish and Fishing in Sherman presented by Michael Humphreys on Thursday, April 23rd at 7:00pm at the library.

Have you ever wondered what all those little fish are in the pool below the bridge, or why Candlewood Lake is being stocked with “grass carp,” or where you can bring a child to have their first successful fishing experience, or where, when, and why the state stocks trout?

Join us at the Sherman Library to learn about the fish communities and recreational fishing opportunities in Sherman. Bring your questions, learn the answers and much more at this evening presentation by Michael Humphreys. Michael worked as a state fisheries biologist for DEEP for 32 years and is a life-long Sherman resident.

This program is free and is offered in person at the Sherman Library. To Register online at shermanlibrary.org/registration-dropdown or contact slprograms@biblio.org
