Join us at the Sherman Library for an Oktoberfest presentation on Thursday, October 15th at 7:00 p.m. presented by Em Sauter.
 
Come learn about the history, tradition, and beer of Oktoberfest with Advanced Cicerone, Author and cartoonist Em Sauter. Oktoberfest is the original party and Em will discuss its origins plus interesting facts about the two-week event using her whimsical illustrations. Get out your lederhosen, wash your masskrug and iron your dirndl! Beer samples will be served.
 
 Em Sauter is an award-winning cartoonist, international beer judge, Advanced Cicerone, public speaker and founder of Pints and Panels, a website she launched in 2010 to focus on visual drinks education. A Connecticut resident, Em has authored four books on beer and is currently working on a fifth book about whiskey.
