The French Hour
Thursday, March 19th, 1-2:00pm at the Sherman Library
Parlez-vous franÇais? Join us on the 3rd Thursday of every month for a meaningful cultural and linguistic experience! If you are an intermediate of (near) fluent French speaker, please join us for an hour of stimulating and immersive French conversation at the Sherman Library on Thursday, March 19th 1-2:00pm.
Over the hour, participants will discuss French cultural topics and current events. Guided conversations will encourage lively exchanges, helping participants refine their French while deepening their appreciation for Francophone culture.
This program is an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow Francophiles, share perspectives, and experience the richness of the French language in a welcoming no-pressure environment.
The French Hour is moderated by Corinne Kevorkian, a French-American resident of Sherman. Corinne, who grew up in Paris, France, taught French for two years as a teaching assistant at Oberlin College before attending law school in Boston and practicing law for 38 years in New York City.
Registration is required and is limited to 10 people per session. To register go to www/shermanlibrary.org or call 860-354-2455
