The Sherman Players Present: Inherit the Wind (Preview Night)

Gus Bottazzi directs this classic American Courtroom drama based on the Scopes "Monkey Trial." Although the teaching of evolution is used as a catalyst for the trial, this drama is a rich examination of the boundaries of freedom of speech and conscience and, perhaps, the right to disagree. It is an argument that begins in our nation's founding and continues (robustly) today.
