Join the Sherman Library for “Wolves of North America”, an informative program presented on Thursday, November 19th at 6:00pm by the Wolf Conservation Center.
Learn about North America’s wildest residents, wolves! The Red Wolf and Gray Wolf could once be found across the continent, in a variety of different landscapes. Host a WCC Wolf expert to learn more about wolf anatomy and physiology, their habitats and keystone role in their ecosystem, and the work WCC is doing to protect the endangered Red Wolf and Mexican Gray Wolf.
The Wolf Conservation Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in South Salem, NY, working to protect and preserve wolves in North America through research, education, advocacy, and active participation in federal recovery and release programs. The Center is home to three gray wolves who serve as Ambassadors for education programs, 12 endangered Mexican gray wolves, and 17 critically endangered Red Wolves.
This program is free and is offered at the Sherman Library. Register online at shermanlibrary.org/registration-dropdown or contact slprograms@biblio.org.
